タラバー門

この門はタラバー門と申します。バガン王朝は１１世紀から始まりましたが、その前の８世紀ころにできた門と言われています。バガンの町に入る城壁はこの部分だけ残されています。4

Tharabar Gate Horse Cart, Old Bagan - The gateway to Old Bagan is Tharabar Gate, the best preserved remains of the wall surrounding the former original palace site built in the 9th century. The gateway has two niches which house Burmese nat, who guard the gate and are treated with deep respect by the locals. Shown is Lady Golden Face.
